Storm Debris Collection Update

A special thank you for your patience as we continue to pick up storm debris. We have had some challenges in getting contractors to our City to help us remove the debris. However, the City of Winter Garden’s Solid Waste workers have been working diligently since the storm to remove the debris. 

Immediately after the storm, our first priority was removing debris from intersections, roadways and areas that flooded. Then we started residential debris collection. Collection of this much debris is not a fast process.  

Please see Collection Schedule below for the remainder of the week:
 
Thursday, October 13 and Friday, October 14: We will be collecting storm debris in neighborhoods that normally receive yard waste and bulk collection on Thursdays or Fridays.
 
This weekend (starting October 15), our crews will be in communities on the south side of HWY 50 removing storm debris. This includes gated communities in that area.

Please separate bulk items from vegetative storm debris.
