Thinking about entering your first tournament but not ready for the overwhelming pressure to win? Or looking to watch, learn, and check out what all the craze over pickleball is about? Look no further, the City of Winter Garden Parks and Recreation Department will be celebrating 10 years of pickleball and hosting its first Recreational Pickleball Tournament & Event at Veterans Memorial Park. Test your skills in our round robin tournament (March 14 – 16) open to all beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. Spectators are welcome at no charge.

Not ready for tournament play? Stop by on the final day of the tournament (March 16) from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm for free pickleball clinics and event as we celebrate the sport of pickleball with free lessons from local instructors or inquire about group lessons offered through the Winter Garden Parks and Recreation Department.

18+ | First matches begin 8:00 am daily
Clinic & Event (free for the community) | March 16, 12:00 – 3:00 pm


City Resident | January 29 – February 21 / Nonresident | February 12 – 21
$90 Resident / $100 Nonresident Team Registration per event, limited to 2 events per individual participant

FYI: In case you did not know, there are 10 public pickleball courts at Veterans Memorial Park (420 S. Park Avenue) for community use. The courts are open daily 7:00 am – 10:00 pm for Open Play only. The Parks & Recreation Department offers Pickleball Group Lessons throughout the year with the next session starting April 2. Register for lessons at
