The feature film, History Speaks: Diary of a Generation, makes a stop at the exquisite Garden Theatre during its national tour. The documentary highlights the “Greatest Generation” telling their stories on how ordinary people become extraordinary when faced with the realities of living in a world at war.
Following the downtown Parade, head inside the historical Garden Theatre to enjoy this moving film about WWII. A Q&A with local filmmaker to follow the second screening.

Built in 1935, the fully restored Garden Theatre is a local treasure with historical architecture inside modeling a Spanish courtyard, along with interior balconies and a dark blue ceiling resplendent with “stars.”
