School Holiday Camp

Games, sports, arts & crafts, theme days and much, much more!!! A great way to spend the holiday break and make lifelong friends! Winter Garden Parks & Recreation Holiday Camp is an awesome experience for your school aged child. Campers will experience the outdoors, friends and FUN! A qualified, well-trained staff will provide a safe and outstanding break for your child. Campers must bring a packed lunch, snacks and a water bottle to camp every day.

Date:  March 21, 24-28
Time: 7 am - 6 pm
Ages: Camp is open to children entering 1st through 9th grade
Parents MUST provide a current report card when registering their child
Fees:  $19 per day Resident / $24 per day Non-Resident

Bricks 4 Kidz

Bricks 4 Kidz is a hands on class where students build machines, buildings, vehicles and other structures of technic Legos using one-of-a-kind model plans.

Time:  Morning Session 9 am – 12 pm Afternoon Session 1 – 4 pm
Ages:  5 – 12, Children MUST be currently enrolled in Kindergarten

Opening registration day for Summer Day Camp 2014! You must register for this program in person. Registration opens at 8am for Winter Garden residents and at 10am for all non-residents. Please bring with you proof of residency (valid photo ID or utility bill) and a current report card for each child. The first two weeks payment is due at the time of registration.
Space is extremely limited.

Ages:   Camp is open to children entering 1st through 8th grade
(Campers entering 9th grade can apply for the CIT program)

Limited scholarships are available through the Winter Garden Parks & Recreation Department. Scholarships are based on the Income Eligibility Guidelines used for the National School Lunch Program. Applications for scholarship will be available beginning February 17, 2014 and must be returned by April 1, 2014. Scholarships will be awarded on April 11, 2014. To obtain an application please contact the Parks & Recreation Office or email efischer@cwgdn.com.

Summer Day Camp Counselor-In-Training Program


The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is specifically designed to develop the skills needed to be a positive leader and role model in the summer day camp. CIT’s will be given a behind the scenes glimpse at camp planning, policies and administration. Each CIT will be assigned to work with a specific group in the summer day camp, and through hands-on experience, will work side by side with the camp counselors and Camp Director. This program will give participants a chance to explore leadership opportunities in a camp setting, responsibilities involved in working with children and fun team building activities.

Limited space is available. In order to be eligible for this program, interested participants must complete an application. Applications will be available beginning February 17 and must be returned by March 14.

Session 2: Weeks of June 30, July 7 & 14
Session 3: Weeks of July 21, 28 & August 4
Time:   7 am – 6 pm
Ages:   14* - 16 (*Eligible CIT’s must be 14 by June 13, 2014 and entering 9th Grade)
Fee:     $50 per week per CIT for City Residents
$60 per week per CIT for Non-Residents
