Engine 24

The Winter Garden Fire Department took delivery of Engine 24 in 2006. The engine was built by Ferrara Fire Apparatus Inc. of Holden, LA. It is a 2007 inferno custom pumper.

Engine 23

The Winter Garden Fire Department took delivery of Engine 23 in 2003. The engine was built by Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. of Holden, LA. It is a 2003 Inferno custom pumper. Engine 23 was placed in service at Station 23 in March of 2003.

Tower 22

The Winter Garden Fire Department took delivery of Tower 22 January of 2008. The truck was built by Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. of Holden, LA. It is a 2008 Inferno custom chassis with a 100 foot, mid-mount, heavy duty aerial platform made of steel.

Medic 24

The Winter Garden Fire Department took delivery of Medic 24 in December of 2008. The medic was built by MedTec, Inc. of Bradonton, FL. The chassis is a 2008 GMC 5500 with a custom-built 170 patient compartment on the frame. A five-member committee made up of the Deputy Chief, Battalion Chief, Engineer and two firefighters from the Winter Garden Fire/Rescue Department designed this unique vehicle with occupant safety and functionality as the primary goals.

Brush 22

The Winter Garden Fire Department placed Brush 22 in service in 2002. Brush 22 is a 2002 Ford F550. The purchase of Brush 22 was made possible with funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) 2001 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. This vehicle replaced the previous Woods 24 which was a 1959 Dodge Power Wagon.

C.A.R.T. (Citizen Assistance Response Team) 24

The Winter Garden Fire Department placed CART 24 in service in 2008. CART 24 is a 4WD Kawasaki mule UTV with a custom built patient compartment. This unit provides a quick response for special events within the city limits.

Command P.O.S.T. (Public Outreach Safety Trailer) 22

The Winter Garden Fire Department placed Command POST 22 in service in 2008. Command POST 22 is a multipurpose trailer that serves as both a fire safety house and an incident command post. A special thank you goes out to the Fireman's Fund Heritage Grant Program, IMAGE Technical Services, Best Buy of Winter Garden, Apopka Natural Gas and Progress Energy for their support and generosity that made the purchase of this trailer possible.
